Peter V. Laurenzo is President of College Aid Planning Associates, Inc., based in Albany, New York. He has a Master's Degree in Education, is a Certified Financial Planner™, a member of the Practitioners Division of the Financial Planning Association, a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and President of the National Financial Aid Practitioners Alliance. He is the author of several editions of College Financial Aid: How To Get Your Fair Share and has written and presented financial aid courses nationally since 1991.

Jason P. Laurenzo, CMFC®   Vice-President

Jason P. Laurenzo, is Vice-President of College Aid Planning Associates Inc. and Laurenzo Financial Solutions. Jason has a BA from The College of Saint Rose and is a graduate of the College For Financial Planning. Jason is a Financial Consultant, a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor, and an Accredited Tax Preparer. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, The National Financial Aid Practitioners Alliance and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Christyne Kucera   Office Administrator

Christyne was a client for her two children before coming to work for College Aid Planning Associates. Her friendly voice and genuine interest to help our clients never goes unnoticed. Chris's skills encompass most facets of office administration including accounting, scheduling and client support. Chris has been an integral part of College Aid Planning Associates and Laurenzo Financial Solutions since 2001.

Brianne Balzer   Client Services Representative

Brianne works in several areas of client services, information technology support and back office duties. Brianne is currently a student at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and anticipates graduating in May 2007 with a B.S in management. Brianne has been an important member of our staff since 2004.

Karen Othon   Back Office Support

Karen is responsible for the final stages of all income tax preparation. Her attention to detail and work ethic has become an integral part of our practice during a very busy tax season. Although usually not visible to our clients, her efficiency ensures that each tax return is accurately collated and compliant. Karen has been with this firm since 2000.
